This week was difficult because grades for both the problem definition and questionnaire analysis were graded. Our team did relatively well on the questionnaire analysis, however we weren’t satisfied with the grade we got for the problem definition. Although our grade was low, I’ll take it as a learning lesson because this is the first time we created a user journey map. Next time we create a user journey map, we’ll make it more comprehensive and expand on all the elements required. This week’s reading focused on Stakeholder walk through. I learned that it helps bring the end users, stakeholders, and design team together to evaluate early prototypes. Through this gathering, as a group, it helps gather feedback/recommendations for improvements for the prototype. If the time was granted, I would love to have a stakeholder walk through with the Vietnamese Friendship Organization because it would helps me as a designer know how I could polish my skills. During class when we shared our paper prototype to our peers, the feedback really helped us understand what we were missing. For example, we forgot to implement a back button and switched the logout button to the wrong place. The next steps for our group is to organize and prioritize our task because we have to complete our app design and our robot in IMD 353 as well. If we continue to conduct google hangouts every night, the processes for all our projects we be finish at ease.
