To summarize this week, it was great to revisit the concepts of prototyping and learning more about RITE (Rapid Iteration Testing Evaluation). We learned some of prototyping 101, low fidelity designs, paper prototyping, wire frames, and etc, to high fidelity design, Proto io, 3-D printing, and etc. After reading the chapter, I realized that we won’t be touching most of the high fidelity design concepts, like the laser printing, 3-D printing, and etc. But I guess that’s something to understand outside of class (sadly). However it was interesting to learn RITE because it’s a evaluation that helps you problem solve within the design process quickly and efficiently. A evaluation that would work well with our user group and design processes in the future. A challenge that we faced this week was getting responses from our user group. I contact them last week and sent them the questionnaires, however we got only 3 responses. Saturday evening I talked to two individuals that were staff and still have no response. At this point, we will have to work with what we got, but I hope to gather more information on Monday. The next steps for our group is focus on designing the User Journey Maps, Storyboards, and Image Boards to better conceptualize the app.13224979_10209401529575945_564440502_o.jpg
