This week was yet another stressful week for me personally because I had trouble balancing work, school and extracurricular activity. This week, our class focused on constructing questionnaires for our focus groups. The reading helped me understand the difference between survey and questionnaire. I learned that surveys are use to gather information quickly and its cost efficient. While questionnaires can gather an accurate reflection about the information you chose to gather. The questionnaire were constructed were focused on helping us further understand information we lack from the VFA. The analysis that was turned in last week was used to help us construct the questionnaire. However we encountered a lot of difficulties because we didn’t know how to narrow the questions to a specific challenge that the VFA had. In the end, Dr. Fox gave us feedback and it helped us narrow the questions down to gathering information that would be helpful for our project. We plan to send out these questionnaires to the staff sometime next week so it would give us time to collect results by next Friday. The next steps for our group are to think of a gift basket for our user group. Since our focus group has help us out throughout these weeks, it fair to say that they deserve a gift on our behalf.
